Technique Tuesday class

November 9, 2011

Have you missed Technique Tuesday?  This class is held on the last Tuesday of every month.  Details can be found here.

In a recent class we learned the Wax Paper Emboss Resist technique.  What a fun one!  The featured project uses the Polar Party stamp set, Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke paper & ink and the new Dazzling Details glitter glue.  WOW it’s much more sparkly in person!  You can see the Wax Paper Emboss resist on the four panels.  We used the Snow Burst embossing folder to create the resist pattern.

Go Phillies!

October 6, 2011

I thought it would be appropriate to share an invitation I made earlier this year for friends we invited to a Philadelphia Phillies game.  For those of you who know me well may be a little confused right now because you know I’m a HUGE Philadelphia Flyers (ice hockey) fan…but I do take an interest in other Philadelphia sports come playoff time.  This Friday is do or die for the Phillies…it’s game 5 of their series with the St. Louis Cardinals.  Go Phils!
