On a personal note…

June 10, 2012

Here’s the card I made for my Nephew who graduated from high school this past Saturday.  Thanks to Kathy (my friend and downline), I even made the tassel!

I’m the proud Aunt of Salutatorian and multiple award winner!

Very Impressive!

Emboss Resist Results #2

July 31, 2009

Thanks for checking back again for the second of three emboss resist results!  Here’s the swatch I worked on this week:

I LOVE mellow moss!  It is such a soft, soothing color.   Two down, one to go!  The Apricot Appeal is the last swatch to make it onto a card…soon!

What do you think of the Mellow Moss resist card?

mellow moss resist

Stamps: Stampers Anonymous, SU Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: mellow moss and chocolate chip
Paper: very vanilla, mellow moss, mellow moss dsp (hostess level 1)
Other: word window punch, vintage brads

This is a great guy’s birthday card.  I don’t know why but using patterned paper is a challenge for me!  I think I just often forget about the beautiful patterned papers, so they never make it onto my cards.

Gentleman’s thank you

July 9, 2009

It can be very difficult to design hand-made greeting cards for the guys in our lives.  So, I’m on a mission to create cards with the gentlemen in mind.  Here’s a very simple, elegant thank you card.  This is an easy one too!

Gentleman's thank you

Stamps: Kind and Caring Thoughts stamp set (new hostess set for 2009 2010!)

Ink: always artichoke

Paper: old olive, old olive designer series paper

I Finally did it!

June 10, 2009

Welcome to my new blog – Paws for Stamping!  I have a love of card-making with rubber stamps and I love cats…hence the name of my blog.   Cats, kittens, big cats…I love them all!

I joined Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator in March of 2009 and don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner!  I love the way all their products coordinate so well together.  It makes creating so much easier and more satisfying when my projects turn out better than expected.

I’ll try my best to keep the blog up to date with fresh ideas for your inspiration!  Enjoy.
